RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Tarma's mission is to provide durable jewelry designs that help define your passion and spirit for adventure. We package your orders by hand, sending good vibes and wishes for many memorable moments with every tuck, fold and clasp. When your order goes out for delivery, the entire team does a little happy dance. Our greatest hope is that you love your designs as much as we do!

Free Returns within 45 Days (US Orders)

If you are not completely satisfied with your order or it doesn't fit the way you imagined, we understand. Send your order back within 45 days of the shipping date for a full refund, exchange, or credit. We provide a free prepaid return shipping label for all US orders. We are incredibly nice and reasonable individuals here at Tarma Designs, so contact us if you ever have any questions!

International Returns (Non-EU)

We gladly accept returns from international customers within 45 days of the shipping date. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Please use a trackable shipping method — Tarma Designs is not responsible for packages lost in transit. Items must be returned unworn, undamaged, and in original condition, with polycords at their original uncut length.

EU Customers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, no reason required. This window extends over weekends and holidays.

To initiate a return, contact us at contact@tarmadesigns.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.

Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Please use a trackable shipping method — Tarma Designs is not responsible for packages lost in transit.

Items must be returned unworn, undamaged, and in original condition, with polycords at their original uncut length. We reserve the right to deduct from your refund if an item shows handling beyond what is needed to inspect it.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your return. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Note: Tarma Designs offers a 45-day return window for all customers, which exceeds the EU 14-day minimum. EU customers are welcome to use our standard 45-day policy — return shipping costs and condition requirements above apply either way.

Condition of Returned Items (All Orders)

All returned items must meet the following conditions:

  • Unworn and undamaged
  • In original condition with original packaging
  • Polycords must be returned at their original uncut length — we are unable to accept returns on cords that have been cut or modified

Our IRONCLAD Guarantee

Tarma stands behind every piece we make.

Pendants (stainless steel, sterling silver, and bronze) carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage or defects. We will repair or replace any pendant, at our discretion, that breaks or fails under normal use.

All other components — including earwires, button toggles, keeper beads, polycords, and chains — are warranted against breakage or defects for one year from the date of purchase.

What is not covered:

Normal wear and tear is not covered under this guarantee. This includes scratches, patina development, and finish changes that occur through regular use. On many of our bronze and sterling pieces, patina is a natural part of the look and character of the jewelry — it is not a defect.

Warranty claims require proof of purchase. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Return Instructions

US Customers (within 45 days):

  1. Visit our returns portal at [returns portal link] to initiate your return and receive a prepaid return shipping label.
  2. Pack your item(s) with original packaging and drop off at any USPS, FedEx, or UPS location.
  3. Once we receive your package, we will process your return and notify you when your refund is complete — usually within one week of receipt.
  4. Give yourself a pat on the back and go enjoy the great outdoors!

International, EU & Warranty Customers:

  1. Contact us at contact@tarmadesigns.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. For warranty claims, download and complete the Return Form below, or include a note with your name, order number, phone number, item SKU, and reason for return. Download Return Form (PDF).
  2. Ship your return using a trackable method (USPS, FedEx, or UPS) at your expense to: Tarma Designs Returns, 629 Entler Ave. #43, Chico CA 95928. Tarma Designs is not responsible for packages lost in transit.
  3. Once we receive your package, we will process your return and notify you when your refund is complete — usually within one week of receipt.
  4. Give yourself a pat on the back and go enjoy the great outdoors!

Exchanges

Want to exchange your purchase for something that's a little more "you"? As long as the item is in resellable condition, in original packaging, with polycord at its original uncut length, and returned within 45 days of the shipping date, it's no problem. Contact us at contact@tarmadesigns.com with your order number and the item you'd like instead and we'll take care of you!
